Saudi ambassador describes his stay in Pakistan as a ‘deeply memorable and rewarding experience’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday met Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki in a farewell call at the prime minister’s house in Islamabad following the completion of the envoy’s official tenure, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.
According to the PMO, the prime minister congratulated the “Saudi Ambassador on the successful completion of his official assignment” and lauded his “outstanding contribution” towards further strengthening the deep-rooted fraternal and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
“The prime minister conveyed his warmest regards and best wishes for the health and well-being of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman,” the statement added.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support and generous assistance, as well as its pivotal role in promoting peace and stability in the region, the PMO said.
Al-Malki expressed his “profound gratitude” to PM Shehbaz and the government of Pakistan for the warmth, cooperation and hospitality extended to him throughout his assignment.

The Saudi ambassador described his stay in Pakistan as a “deeply memorable and rewarding experience” and reaffirmed his personal commitment to the continued strengthening of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations, the PMO added.
PM Shehbaz wished Al-Malki continued success in his future endeavours, the statement concluded.
Pakistan eyes strategic economic ties with KSA
PM Shehbaz on Tuesday said Pakistan was keen to elevate its economic relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into a mutually beneficial strategic economic partnership in line with the vision of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
A high-level Saudi business delegation, led by Chairman of the Saudi-Pak Joint Business Council, Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, called on the prime minister here at the PM House, a news release said.
While recalling the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom, the prime minister discussed avenues for expanding economic cooperation and investment between the two brotherly countries.
