KARACHI:
In a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO), the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law-enforcement agencies arrested two suspected terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in the Naudero area of Larkana.
The operation was conducted late on Saturday night. The arrested terrorists were identified as Jamil Ahmed Sheikh and Salahuddin.
Sindh Home Minister Zia Hassan Lanjar praised the efforts of the CTD Larkana and intelligence agencies for foiling a potential terror plot.
He urged them to maintain this level of vigilance to ensure a peaceful and secure Independence Day celebration.
