Two explosions have occured near a police checkpoint in Hangu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Superintendent of Police Operations Asad Zubair and two police officers were martyred in the blast, the police confirmed.

According to sources, the first explosion took place near the checkpoint, and as the late SP Asad Zubair was heading to the scene, a second blast occured.
