Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has the support of millions of fans globally but even they can’t beat the support of his sisters.

The former Manchester United star’s sisters aren’t afraid to support their brother even if they have to mock Argentinian legend and their brother’s longtime rival Lionel Messi.

The 39-year-old Al Nassr star has two older sisters Elma and Katia Aveiro who are both fiercely loyal and unafraid to reveal their feelings about him and his rival who are constantly pitted against each other by fans to debate who’s the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).

They have openly mocked their brother’s rival at three different occasions.

Juventus vs Barcelona

Ronaldo’s sister showed her support online when his Juventus played a Champions League match against Messi’s Barcelona in December 2020 where the Argentine displayed a disappointing performance.

The Portuguese legend, however, scored twice from the penalty spot securing a 3-0 victory for Juventus.

According to the Mirror, Elma quickly took to Instagram by sharing a mocked-up drawing of Messi bowing down to Ronaldo, captioned: “My king. Greatest of all time. Pride of my life.”

However, this image has since been removed from her Instagram.

Overhead kick vs bicycle kick

Katia fired her shots at Messi when he was getting all the praise for a stunning overhead kick in August 2022 for Paris Saint Germain against Clermont.

She liked and commented clapping emojis on an Instagram post by a fan where they compared Messi’s goal to Ronaldo’s iconic bicycle kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in the Champions League in 2018, praising the Al Nassr star.

Ballon d’Or

The other time when Katia mocked Messi was when he won his record-extending eighth Ballon d’Or last year while Ronaldo wasn’t even among the 30 players nominated.

He trails Messi five to eight, causing controversy among fans who argue for him being the GOAT.

Later, a Ronaldo fan page posted a photo of the Portuguese forward with his trophies alongside the captioned “Earned, not given”.

Katia then replied to the post with clapping emojis.
