Earlier in the day, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a Balochi-language patriotic song, “Pak Ae Watan”, ahead of Independence Day.
The song was sung and composed by Akhtar Chanal Zahri, with music by Sami Khan, and was produced by Multiverse Entertainment.
The song, “Pak Ae Watan”, focuses on unity among the four provinces and Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as Gilgit-Baltistan, and highlights the spirit of making sacrifices for the country.
Accompanied by a video, the song draws on Baloch folk traditions, music and voices while conveying a message of national unity and presenting them as an integral part of Pakistan’s wider national identity.
It presents Pakistan as more than a geographical entity, portraying the country as a central part of the people’s identity and highlighting their willingness to make sacrifices for it.
The patriotic song promotes unity, solidarity and brotherhood, while celebrating national pride across Pakistan’s diverse regions, languages and communities.
