Cristiano Ronaldo is the top goal scorer of the UEFA Champions League and his fans consider him the greatest player of all time (GOAT).
Recently, the 39-year-old star forward secured admiration from English football Arsenal’s striker Bukayo Saka, who was advised to follow Cristiano Ronaldo if he wants to become an elite player, according to a Mirror report.
The English striker was told by Mikel Arteta to become a player who can be on the field for 60 to 70 games every season, like the Al-Nassr’s star does.
While explaining his dream of becoming a great player, the 22-year-old Saka said: “He [Mikel] told me the elite players all do it, so if I want to get to that level I have to be ready to play that many games, and try and help my team win each of those games as well.”
Referring to the Portuguese forward, he opined: “He was a perfect example of that. He just exploded and turned into a goalscoring machine and I think he inspired a lot of players to try and follow in his footsteps.”
“But at the same time I just want to try and be myself and do what’s required to play and win for Arsenal,” Saka noted.
