YouTuber Tana Mongeau announced her intention to vote for Kamala Harris after her podcast co-host, Brooke Schofield, faced backlash for liking a picture of Adin Ross with former President Donald Trump.
The controversy surrounding Schofield comes amid her recent apology for racist tweets that resurfaced, which she addressed in an emotional video.
Brooke Schofield has apologized for racist posts that she shared when she was 15-18 years old:
“My parents were addicts, so I was adopted by my grandparents when I was like 10. As is true for a lot of grandparents, they’re a little bit less progressive than a lot of us are now.” pic.twitter.com/Hx427uVKpu

Mongeau recently sparked her own controversy on her “Cancelled” podcast when she claimed she “hooked up” with Cody Ko when she was 17 and he was 25. Though initially intended as a joke, the comment was taken seriously, leading to public criticism of Ko, who has not formally responded to the allegations. Ko has since stepped down from day-to-day operations at his podcast production company, TMG Studios.
Adin Ross conducted a live interview with Trump on his Kick livestream while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and encouraged his viewers to support Trump in the 2024 election. The interview peaked at 500,000 concurrent viewers and addressed various issues affecting the United States.
