Prince Harry is to return to the UK to meet King Charles; Meghan Markle reportedly “not welcome”

As Prince Harry gets ready to return to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, speculation swirls about possible reunions within the royal family.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has told Marca that King Charles III has reportedly “left the door open for Harry” amid their well-known rift, but the same might not be true for Meghan Markle, whom one royal expert has labeled as “toxic.”

Harry, 39, is expected to arrive in the UK soon for the special anniversary event, to be held at St Paul’s Cathedral.

While an Invictus Games spokesperson confirmed Harry’s attendance, there has been no word on whether Meghan will join him, along with their children Archie and Lilibet.

Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that Meghan’s reception in the UK would not be favorable, citing “hostility” towards her and the couple’s behavior over the years. He emphasized that Meghan’s presence would likely overshadow the event and its message.

Meghan, 42, has accompanied Harry to previous Invictus Games, however, she has not been seen in the UK since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

Fitzwilliams acknowledged that despite any potential tension, Harry would undoubtedly want to see his father during his visit.

As the royal family prepares for Harry’s return, all eyes will be on the potential interactions between the Duke of Sussex and his family members, particularly King Charles, in what could be a significant moment amid ongoing royal dramas.
