John Cena talks about reported feud between Fast and Furious stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson

In a recent interview on the Armchair Expert podcast, Cena acknowledged the speculation, stating, “There’s certainly rumours about that. I can’t deny that.”

He attributed the potential friction to the strong personalities involved. “You have two very alpha, driven people,” Cena said, suggesting a clash of egos between Diesel and Johnson.

However, Cena also emphasised the importance of respect within the established franchise. “I’m being invited into someone’s home, into someone’s family,” he explained.

He acknowledged the long history of the Fast and Furious series, stating, “This is one IP that has had nine instalments and it’s an action movie — that’s rarefied air.”

Cena went on to express his gratitude for the opportunity and his desire to contribute positively.

“At the very least, there has to be respect for that,” he said. “I’m not trying to get the sandbox. That’s not my thing. I’m grateful for what you’ve given me, I just want to be the best fire truck I can be.”

While Cena’s comments don’t confirm or deny the reported feud, they do offer an interesting perspective on the dynamic within the Fast and Furious cast.
