IHC seeks record of Imran’s visitors

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought a record from Adiala Jail superintendent regarding visitor meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan.

A three-member IHC bench headed by interim Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar heard the petition. Adiala Jail superintendent Abdul Ghafoor Anjum appeared before the court and said that the jail administration had been allowing visitors to meet Imran Khan outside the scheduled timings and jail manual regulations. The court sought a report from the Adiala jailer and directed him to inform the court about the criteria for visitor meetings with Imran Khan in jail.
