Contempt hearing against Imran adjourned


ISLAMABAD:

The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court has adjourned the contempt of court hearing against PTI founder Imran Khan for an indefinite period.

A five-member Constitutional Bench headed by Justice Amin Ud-Din Khan heard the government petition against the PTI founder. During the proceedings, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail said the Attorney General office will be a prosecutor if a contempt of court case proceeding starts. Additional Attorney General Aamir Rehman informed the court that services of senior lawyer Salman Aslam Butt have been hired in this case.
