CIA sub-inspector among two killed in shooting

LAHORE:

Unidentified assailants on Wednesday opened fire on a car near Muridke on GT Road, resulting in a fatal crash that claimed the lives of a CIA sub-inspector and his friend, while the driver was left critically injured.

According to police, Sub-Inspector Muratib Ali, who was posted at the CIA Organised Crime Unit (OCU), Lahore headquarters, had left home and was travelling to Sheikhupura with his friend Zaka when unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle.
