Beyoncé recently joined in on the viral “II Hands to Heaven” challenge created by choreographer Drea Kelly.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share her version of the challenge, posting a slideshow celebrating the success of her latest chart-topping album “Cowboy Carter,” including a video of what appears to be a flag with the album title in a desert setting.
In the video, set to the soundtrack of one of the album’s favorites, Beyoncé can be seen dancing to moves inspired by Drea Kelly’s dance challenge for the song.
Drea Kelly, a renowned American choreographer, dancer, and actress, who is also the ex-wife of rapper and convicted felon R. Kelly, gained attention for her dance to “II HANDS II HEAVEN,” which has since gone viral.
Speaking to ‘USA Today’ about the response to her dance, Drea expressed her surprise and excitement: “I was like, ‘hold on now, Beyoncé’s internet is on to something.’ And it has taken a life of its own,” she told ‘USA Today.’
Fans online went wild after Beyoncé posted her take on the challenge, with one fan expressing their excitement: “Not BEY doing the DANCE!!!!!!!!!”
