Nicholas Galitzine, known for recent films like “Purple Hearts” and “Red, White & Royal Blue” alongside “The Idea of You,” is dishing on how he avoids the negative aspects of fame.
In a new interview with IndieWire, Galitzine emphasised the importance of boundaries, “I have my non-negotiables, my family, my loved ones, my friends,” he says.
The actor also has attempted to steer clear of “the more toxic parts of Hollywood” by remembering his passion for acting: “It’s a creative endeavor, that’s what I love about it.”
He describes his life outside of acting as “incredibly normal” filled with everyday activities he enjoys, like “exploring” and “going out to restaurants.”
“Maybe I’m speaking from a point of naivety,” he admits, “but I’ve managed to maintain that till this day, and I hope I can continue to create a space for myself where I’m still able to do those things that I feel so passionately about.”
Fans can currently catch Galitzine opposite Anne Hathaway in “The Idea of You,” a Prime Video rom-com.
Looking ahead, the actor is drawn to action, sci-fi fantasy, Westerns, and even more comedies.
“My tastes are very varied, which is exciting,” he shares, adding that he’s “really trying to find the light and shade of what [he’s] capable of.”
