Justin Bieber’s ex manager Scooter Braun compares Palestinian protesters to Nazis

Scooter Braun, known for helping launch Justin Bieber’s career, is facing criticism for comparing Palestinian protesters to Nazis.

The celebrity manager posted an image on his Instagram story likening Palestinian activists at Columbia University in 2024 to Nazis at Vienna University in 1938.

This is not the first time Braun has been criticized for his support of Israel. The Hollywood Reporter noted that fans of BTS urged the K-pop band’s management company, Hybe, to fire Braun for his pro-Israel views amid conflict in Gaza.

Braun also spoke at a rally for Gaza hostages in Tel Aviv, saying that he “had to come and stand with my people.”

Speaking about Israel, the record executive was quoted saying,  “I didn’t find a country filled with hate or anger — I found a nation of lions, filled with hope and courage and kindness and it let me know that the hostages will come home,” he says.

Braun signed an open letter supporting Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest and appeared in a video with Israeli activist Noa Tishby, discussing how Israelis hold onto the dream of peace and love despite their tragedies.

Despite controversies such as selling Taylor Swift’s masters without her knowledge and losing clients like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato, Braun continues to manage major celebrities including Ava Max, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Black Eyed Peas.
